# **aiLife – Privacy Policy**

## **1\. Introduction**

Welcome to aiLife. This Privacy Policy outlines how your data is handled when you use the aiLife Google Chrome Extension (the "Software"). We are fiercely committed to a "Privacy-First" approach, meaning we have specifically designed our software to keep your data in your control.

## **2\. Data Collection and Local Processing**

aiLife operates entirely locally within your Google Chrome browser.

* **Chat Histories & Images:** When you use the Software to archive conversations from supported AI platforms (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini), all data extraction, text formatting, image compression, and ZIP archive generation occurs exclusively on your local hardware.  
* **No Cloud Storage:** The Developer does not collect, store, transmit, or possess any access to your chat histories, personal data, or the files you generate. Your user data never touches an external server managed by aiLife. Exported data is entirely ephemeral and ceases to exist in the browser's memory the moment the download to your local disk is triggered.

## **3\. Payment Processing**

To manage subscriptions and trial access, aiLife integrates with ExtensionPay, which utilizes Stripe Inc. as its payment processor.

* If you choose to upgrade, your payment details (such as credit card information and billing address) are provided directly to and processed securely by ExtensionPay and Stripe.  
* The Developer of aiLife does not collect, receive, or store your financial information. We solely receive an authentication token and your subscription status to enable the Software's premium features.

## **4\. Remote Configuration and Analytics**

* **Configuration Updates:** To ensure continued compatibility with third-party AI platforms, the Software periodically fetches a static configuration file (selectors.json) from a remote repository. This is a secure, one-way download and transmits no personal data or usage metrics from your device.  
* **Zero Telemetry:** aiLife does not use tracking cookies, behavioral analytics, or background telemetry. We do not track how you use the extension.

## **5\. Third-Party Websites**

This Privacy Policy applies solely to the aiLife extension. The Software interacts with third-party platforms (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google). We do not control the privacy practices of these platforms, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies to understand how they handle your interactions.

## **6\. Your Rights (UK GDPR)**

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you possess various rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, rectify, or request the erasure of your data.

Because aiLife does not collect, hold, or process your personal data on any external servers, we cannot provide or delete chat records upon request. To exercise your right to erasure regarding your chat archives, you must manually delete the downloaded files from your local device and/or manage your data directly with the respective AI platforms.

**7\. Changes to This Policy**

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology or legal obligations. Any updates will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
